Hey all! Just wondering how you guys found out about Temposhark...
For me, I discovered Temposhark while at a Darren Hayes concert in Southern California at The Roxy. When I got into the concert, there were two opening acts, some guy named Julien, and Temposhark. I think I fell in love with their music as they opened up, and that day I bought The Invisible Line, and almost two years later, I'm still listening to it and loving it as much as I did the first time I heard it in its entirety!
*sending love to Rob et al.*

After falling in love with Imogen Heap, I started looking for every song featuring her and came along "Not That Big"... immediately fell in love with it and started listening to the (old) Temposhark demos...

Well I am fairly new, don't know a lot about them but I had heard Mr Hayes talk of them. Then temposhark world added me to facebook and i've been learning more Isis, I think I remember you from the Darren Hayes forum, I was Teddy_Bear over there.

Isis, I think I remember you from the Darren Hayes forum, I was Teddy_Bear over there. I'm so rarely on there anymore, but I think I remember you too... BTW, slightly off topic - have you heard Darren's free We Are Smug album yet? When I got it, I was totally hoping that Rob had added his vocals to it as well... That would have been sooo awesome!

I haven't been a member on there for 7 months now, but thanks to facebook and the likes, am still able to keep in the loop. I have heard that album, I thought Rob did contribute some vocals to it.. but I wouldn't know his voice lol! It was an ok album..

Well, I've been an Alanis Morissette fan for a very long time, and last year she released her fifth album, Flavors of Entanglement. Guy Sigsworth produced that album. Curious as to who he was, I began looking into his work. Among all the artists he had worked with a name was so unique it just stuck to my head: Imogen Heap
I listened to some songs by her but I hated Speak for Yourself. I only liked Goodnight and Go and Hide and Seek, the rest were all bleh. I decided to listen to and I Megaphone and Frou Frou and most of it didn't really click with me... I feared for Alanis's album.
And so, I went on with life. 2008 was my senior year and I was sorta busy. Then Flavors was realeased and I was in awe. Moratorium and Giggling Again for no Reason were really amazing tracks in my opinion and Tapes... Oh Tapes, how can I relate to it. Bonus disc was nice too.
And so I decide to look for more stuff by Guy and I find Temposhark. I see they have a song with Imogen and I'm like "oh great, I'll give her another chance" and... I didn't like. Not That Big went over my head.
I then realize Guy didn't work in that song and I looked for It's Better to Have Loved and... now, THAT song clicked. I fell in love with that song and it's one of my favorite Temposhark songs. A friend sent me The Invisible Line and I loved all of the album except for Crime, NTB, Invisible Ink and Winter's... Incidentally, I had grown to like Speak for Yourself by then and now it found itself a place with my favorite albums.
OK and so, end of last year and we graduated (My school year is from March to December) and 3 days after graduation a classmate died. Even though I don't have Winter the song clicked with me as well as many other songs I hadn't payed attention to. (1000 Oceans by Tori Amos especially)... Enter 2009 and I went to the US at the beginning of this year and I bought The Invisible Line and the remaining three songs clicked throughout that trip. The four songs I disliked I now adore.
And now I'm here waiting for album 2.

I visited the Popstarz website to find out details (opening hours, admission price, music etc) for a night out in London, and they had JOY then KNOCK ME OUT playing on the site... they were so catchy i ended up searching YOU TUBE for further songs - within a day i got the album. HAPPY DAYZ

I first discovered Temposhark in an NME album review and have never looked back since. The Invisible Line is one of my most listened to CDs.

Btw I live in Reading and that's where Robert is originally from I think? So another reason to love him, local lad.

I was in a car travelling along some crappy winding road with a friend and an older version of "Little White Lie" came on his CD player, I have no idea where he got it from but it was about a year and half ago now, I fell in love with it instantly and without actually allowing him to think that he had a good taste in music I stole the CD and got the name Temposhark and then proceeded to Itunes to purchase it Its been a win ever since for me and as I think the rest above will agree, eagerly awaiting the second album now. Hurry up Sep 14th!
